If you want to learn how to get to Dreamsville—read below!

All of these—and more—are waiting for some lucky 16-ers. Look to the right and see if your dream came true!

What is Dreamsville? Chickadee, Dreamsville is that place way up yonder where dreams come true like they were never fulfilled before—and the pure ecstasy might just flip you out and onto a cloud so high you may never make it back to mother earth again!

If you’re ready to make the trip, hang on—and heed this! Write a letter—a simple, easy, one-page letter—to 16 Magazine telling exactly what special delight you are longing to get from your very favorite teen star. If we possibly can (and be assured: 16 stops at nothing!), we’ll see that you get exactly what you dreamed about!

Hard to believe? Well, then, just take a look at the facing page. Each girl whose name and home town is printed there is a 16 reader who made a wish, dreamed a dream or yearned for something very special—and got it when 16 hauled her aboard our jet express to Dreamsville.

You can wing off to Dreamsville just as easily! Just write a short letter (on one side of the sheet only!) telling what you would dearly love to have. Could be a personal phone call—or a personal letter—from your favorite star. Could be a personal keepsake from your dream guy. Could be a pin-up portrait personally autographed by your grooviest group. Could be a whole set of recordings from the top of the charts. Could be any number of delicious things. It’s your request—so you name it. Jot it down on a sheet of paper and mail it to the address below:

“Dreamsville”
16 Magazine
Box 218
Brooklyn, N.Y. 11202

After you’ve mailed your letter, don’t fail to get every issue of 16 Magazine and watch the Dreamsville answers page—because that’s where you’ll see the glorious news that everything you wished for, dreamed of, longed for has come true!

Dashing Davy Jones of the Monkees just knocked STEPHANIE KAPLAN of Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., for a triple flip! Davy sent her one of his favorite tambourines, a large, personally autographed picture and a copy of the Monkees latest Colgems LP, Headquarters. Pretty nice up here in Dreamsville, isn’t it, STEPHANIE? Wanta sign a lease?

CAROL SCHATOFF of Baltimore, Md., calls herself a real “dyed-in-the-wool, 24-hour-a-day Mark Lindsay maniac”. That sounded like so much work to Mark that he personally reserved a nice fleecy cloud just for her! Mark sent CAROL a copy of the Columbia LP, Paul Revere & The Raiders’ Greatest Hits, and a personally autographed picture, and also called her person-to-person on the phone—just to let her know that Dreamsville is for real! Stop spinnin’, CAROL—you’re causing a draft!

Popular Peter Tork welcomed BARBARA SIMMONS of Toronto, Can., to Dreamsville with a large, personally autographed picture and a soopa-surprise gift! He also sent her a year’s free subscription to his favorite magazine, 16. BARBARA said this was her third try at a Dreamsville trip. Persistence pays!

Daring David McCallum stopped chasing T.H.R.U.S.H. long enough to make sure that PAULINE HESLIN of South Island, N.Z., got to visit Dreamsville this summer. David sent PAULINE a personally autographed picture, a copy of his new Capitol LP, McCallum—and a handwritten note to let her know it was really from him!

PATRICIA BROWN of Albuquerque, N. Mex., has gone ga-ga over dauntless Desi Arnaz of Dino, Desi & Billy. Desi gave her a real thrill by calling her person-to-person on the telephone. Desi also sent along a personally autographed picture of the terrific three and a copy of the latest DD&B Reprise LP. No job is too tough for Dreamsville!

16’s editor, Gloria Stavers, threw her flamenco hat into the Dreamsville ring by sending a brand-new portable record player to SHARON ROHLINGER of Colorado Springs, Col. SHARON’s older sister has been monopolizing the family record player and there was no place for her to play her own faves. Worry no more, SHARON, help is on the way. (A full year’s free subscription to swingin’ 16 is on the way, too!)

Handsome Herman took time off from his busy schedule to dash off a quick note to MARIE LONG of Casper, Wyo. Herman also sent MARIE a large, personally autographed picture and a copy of his new MGM Records smash single, Don’t Go Out In The Rain. Don’t worry, MARIE—it never rains in Dreamsville!
