What is Dreamsville? Chickadee, Dreamsville is that place way up yonder where dreams come true like they were never fulfilled before—and the pure ecstasy might just flip you out and onto a cloud so high you may never make it back to mother earth again!

If you’re ready to make the trip, hang on—and heed this! Write a letter—a simple, easy, one-page letter—to 16 Magazine telling exactly what special delight you are longing to get from your very favorite teen star. If we possibly can (and be assured: 16 stops at nothing!), we’ll see that you get exactly what you dreamed about!

Hard to believe? Well, then, just take a look at the facing page. Each girl whose name and home town is printed there is a 16 reader who made a wish, dreamed a dream or yearned for something very special—and got it when 16 hauled her aboard our jet express to Dreamsville.

You can wing off to Dreamsville just as easily! Just write a short letter (on one side of the sheet only!) telling what you would dearly love to have. Could be a personal phone call—or a personal letter—from your favorite star. Could be a personal keepsake from your dream guy. Could be a pin-up portrait personally autographed by your grooviest group. Could be a whole set of recordings from the top of the charts. Could be any number of delicious things. It’s your request—so you name it. Jot it down on a sheet of paper and mail it to the address below. All it costs is just one 5ยข stamp—nothing else! Your Dreamsville gift is absolutely free!

Handsome Sajid Khan zapped DIANNE NICHOLS of Painesville, Ohio, into a blissful orbit by personally filling her Dreamsville requests all by himself! Sajid signed a huge photograph of himself, wrote a personal note, picked out a bottle of perfume and—for a grand finale—sent along an Indian bell for DIANNE to wear around her neck for luck. You’ll be the “belle of the ball” now, DIANNE—but stop turning cartwheels! You’re making too much noise!

Pert and perky CELIA CRAIG of Madison, Wisc., has been a Monkeemaniac ever since the fab four first frolicked across her TV screen. CELIA sent bushels of letters to Dreamsville and had almost given up hope when dashing Davy Jones (her personal fave) rushed to her rescue. Davy sent CELIA a huge personally autographed picture of himself, an autographed copy of the new Monkee LP and a gift box jam-packed with Monkee goodies galore! Keep smilin’, true-believers—Dreamsville never fails!

PAMELA LONGINIDES of Somerville, Mass., wrote that she came “all the way from Greece” just to be a little closer to her all-time favorite star—Micky Dolenz. Micky felt that anyone who traveled that far should have an all-expense, first-class ticket to Dreamsville. Micky sent PAMELA his very own Peace Symbol (on a silver chain), an autographed picture of himself, and (just to make sure she didn’t think it was all a dream) he write [sic] a personal note and sent it along too! You didn’t have to come all the way from Greece, PAMELADreamsville would have come to you!

PAM ALONSO of Chicago, Ill., is sending beams of joy all over the Windy City, thanks to Mark Lindsay. Mark really went overboard by sending PAM one of his favorite flamenco hats plus a huge, personally autographed picture of himself and one of his favorite “Hamlet” shirts. Mark also sent along a personal note so that PAM can show her friends that her gifts are the real thing. For Pete’s sake, Mark—put on another shirt or you’ll catch your death of cold! Dreamsville does it again!

JUANITA WILLIAMS of Danville, Va., is spaced out over Spock—Leonard Nimoy. It would take a tornado to unglue her from her TV when Star Trek is on. Leonard sent her on a trek to the stars all her own by sending her a huge, autographed picture of himself, a handwritten note, personally autographed copies of his two Dot LPs, Leonard Nimoy Presents Mr. Spock’s Music From Outer Space and Two Sides of Leonard Nimoy—plus a super-surprise gift that’s sure to send her all the way to Saturn! No job too tough for Dreamsville!

16’s super Editor-in-Chief Gloria Stavers joined the Dreamsville all-star cast of super-stars by putting a mile-long smile on the face of ELIZABETH MITCHELL of Long Beach, Miss. ELIZABETH had been wishing for a record player to play her records on. Gorgeous Gloria sent her a portable record player-radio combination, ten smashing LP’s by some of today’s most popular music-makers, and a full year’s free subscription to swingin’ 16 Magazine. Dreamsville goes all-out—for you!

IRENE ALLWEISS of Northville, Mich., doesn’t just want a short trip to Dreamsville—she’d like to learn how to stay there. IRENE is a Beatle fan and wrote the far-out foursome for some information on Yoga and Meditation. John, Paul, George and Ringo sent her a large book of Yoga instruction, two of Ravi Shankar’s World-Pacific LP’s to meditate by, and a copy of one of their favorite books—Herman Hesse’s Siddartha. The boys also autographed a copy of Magical Mystery Tour LP and sent along a color group photograph. Dreamsville will try anything to make your wildest dreams come true!
