August is the month you can expect the Monkees to blaze across your motion picture screen. Micky, Davy, Peter, and Mike will be making movie history in the as yet untitled goodie. And how about this… Each Monkee will probably make a personal appearance with the movie when it opens in various cities. Keep your eyes open: You may be seeing a Monkee in person this summer.
Though you may have read that the Monkees TV show has been cancelled for next season, the Monkees are likely to return to the airwaves once again come September. The format might not be quite the same as last year, but there’ll be quite a few groovy surprises.
The Far Eastern tour of Japan and Australia is just about to begin and all the Monkees are very excited. This will be the first chance foreign fans have gotten to see the boys and it promises to be a great thrill for everyone.
