Info One of Micky’s fondest dreams came true when he was selected to become the first Monkee to direct a show as well as star in it! He knew that it would be very hard work, but worth every mad minute of it! The director has to set up every shot and imagine how it will look through the eye of the camera. 
Info The script never left his hand during the week Micky was directing. Every happening on the show is noted on that script. Who wrote that week’s script? Oh, some unkonwn [sic] writer named Dolenz! (Micky’s comedy idol is Jerry Lewis, who also directs and writes his own movies, and this was the first time that Micky filled so many important roles at the same time!).

Info Alone with the script, and his ideas, Micky plans the next mad Monkee happening! Micky loved directing, and is looking forward to doing it again!
