The above letter is only one of many we’ve been receiving concerning an accident involving Micky and Davy. Some of the letter writers even heard they were dead or paralyzed for life! But don’t worry, all the Monkees are alive and well, and will continue to turn out their great show and records!

You might well arsk. Paul and Jane haven’t set any date as yet. The Beatles have said they will make no more personal appearances, so if they come to America it will not be for concert purposes. Paul was here in April. They do, however, have a nine-year recording contract, so “Sargeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” most certainly won’t be their last album. In the April issue there was a letter from Kenny White of Dayton, Ohio, asking about a fourth Supreme. There isn’t one, just as you said. But Scott Regan, a D.J. for WKNR, Detroit, had a contest “Record a record with the Supremes” just before Christmas. It was never released, but given to the listeners of the station. This is probobly [sic] where the rumor got started.
