Every day, they’re up at dawn and work way past 7:30 P.M. on the set. Then, often, they hit RCA Victor Recording Studios to work on their newest album. But, when the weekend rolls around they get to relax… on a plane heading for their weekend personal appearance show. What a life… but they all love it.

MIKE’S usually the most wide awake Monkee during the day because Phyllis feeds him a good breakfast in the morning to get him started. Peter’s always sleepy until very late in the afternoon. Then he begins to wake up and can stay wide awake all night.

MICKY (below) looks like he’s singing, but he isn’t. That’s a typical Micky Dolenz yawn. Micky and Davy are the most energetic Monkees, but they also get tired easier than Peter and Mike. Micky often takes short naps in his dressing room during the shooting day on the set at Columbia Screen Gems.
