If you want to learn how to get to Dreamsville—read below!

All of these—and more—are waiting for some lucky 16-ers. Look to the right and see if your dream came true!

What is Dreamsville? Chickadee, Dreamsville is that place way up yonder where dreams come true like they were never fulfilled before—and the pure ecstasy might just flip you out and onto a cloud so high you may never make it back to mother earth again!

If you’re ready to make the trip, hang on—and heed this! Write a letter—a simple, easy, one-page letter—to 16 Magazine telling exactly what special delight you are longing to get from your very favorite teen star. If we possibly can (and be assured: 16 stops at nothing!), we’ll see that you get exactly what you dreamed about!

Hard to believe? Well, then, just take a look at the facing page. Each girl whose name and home town is printed there is a 16 reader who made a wish, dreamed a dream or yearned for something very special—and got it when 16 hauled her aboard our jet express to Dreamsville.

You can wing off to Dreamsville just as easily! Just write a short letter (on one side of the sheet only!) telling what you would dearly love to have. Could be a personal phone call—or a personal letter—from your favorite star. Could be a personal keepsake from your dream guy. Could be a pin-up portrait personally autographed by your grooviest group. Could be a whole set of recordings from the top of the charts. Could be any number of delicious things. It’s your request—so you name it. Jot it down on a sheet of paper and mail it to the address below:

“Dreamsville”
16 Magazine
Box 218
Brooklyn, N.Y. 11202

After you’ve mailed your letter, don’t fail to get every issue of 16 Magazine and watch the Dreamsville answers page—because that’s where you’ll see the glorious news that everything you wished for, dreamed of, longed for has come true!

Popular Peter Tork of the Monkees sent KATHY SCHWING of Connersville, Ind., skyrocketing to the stars by sending her one of his very own Monkee shirts. Jut [sic] to make sure she stayed in orbit, he sent along a big color picture of himself and a personal handwritten note. Another dream fulfilled, thanks to Dreamsville!

Raider Rooter DEBBIE WEISNER of Pittsburgh, Pa., is in Seventh Heaven for the duration, thanks to Mark Lindsay and Phil “Fang” Volk. Mark sent her one of his very own Hamlet shirts and Fang sent along one of his very own Raider hats. Mark and Fang each enclosed a personal handwritten note so that DEBBIE can prove to any “Doubting Thomases” that her Dreamsville jackpot is for real!

Handsome Herman of the Hermits saved a seat for DEBBIE DAMMEN of Las Vegas, Nev., on the Dreamsville Express. Herman sent her a personally autographed sweatshirt and a soopa-surprise box of goodies. How is it up on Cloud Nine, DEBBIE?

SUSAN NERISON of Concord, Calif., is all smiles, thanks to dashing Davy Jones of the Monkees. Davy sent her a pair of his favorite “Monkeeshades”, a personally autographed copy of the Colgems LP More Of The Monkees, and her very own record player to play it on. Dreamsville strikes again!

16’s editor, Gloria Stavers sent birthday greetings and a full year’s free subscription to swinging 16 Magazine to SUSAN MARTIN of Orlando, Fla. Just to make sure that this birthday is the best yet, a very special birthday gift from Gloria is also on the way. You don’t have to blow out all the candles on your birthday cake to make your wish come true—just write to Dreamsville!

The gates to Dreamsville were opened wide for long-time Beatle fan CYNTHIA CLARK of Austin, Texas. The Beatles sent here [sic] there, all expenses paid, with a personally autographed picture of themselves and a copy of their outasite Capitol LP Revolver. Her favorite, John Lennon, autographed a copy of his book, The Penguin John Lennon, too!

BETSEY VOSS of Sheboygan, Wisc., is just wild about Star Trek star Leonard Nimoy. She should be turning cartwheels of joy ’cos Leonard sent her an autographed copy of his smash Dot LP Mr. Spock’s Music From Outer Space, a personally autographed picture of himself (in and out of makeup), and a full year’s subscription to his favorite magazine—16.

So remember, true believers, sooner or later Dreamsville will get to YOU! 16 Magazine has a longterm lease and there is plenty of room for everyone!
