Would you believe that when Davy Jones took his three week vacation, he asked me to go along? Well, he did, and the whole trip was outasite. Naturally, I took my camera along so I could show all of you TiGER BEAT readers what a great time we had. Just one thing I would like to say is that Davy Jones is really one of the grooviest guys in the world. It’s a real pleasure to call myself his friend.
Info Davy and I in NassauInfo Getting off the plane in Nassau, Davy couldn’t believe his eyes. There were no fans anywhere and the weather was beautiful. No one knew we were coming.Info As soon as we got settled in the British Colonial Hotel, Davy wanted to play some golf so we went out on the golf course and I took some photos of him. Davy is a fabulous athlete. He can do almost anything. He played golf for three straight hours.Info Info We rented a boat and went with an American family to a small island off of Nassau. Above, you see a photo of the Smith family who were very nice to us in Nassau.Info Davy went snorkel diving and found a beautiful shell which we took home to his father. The water in Nassau is very clear and blue and Davy said he could see all sorts of things under the water.Info Above with the Smiths, Davy really had a great time. He had never met them until this trip to Nassau. They watch the Monkee show on TV and when they saw Davy in the hotel lobby they came over and introduced themselves. Then they invited us to go with them to this small island.Info All the time we were in Nassau it was 80 degrees and beautiful. After we left Nassau, we went to Jamaica and then on to England. I’ll tell you all about that in my next installment of My Days with Davy.
