Make-up man created this bald look for Davy in less than a half hour. [Above], he resembles a tough gangster type. Peter doesn’t like being made up, but he realizes it’s part of the game. Between takes, he is constantly having his hair combed so that it looks straight. Bicycle fun exists for Davy whenever he isn’t in front of the cameras. A natural athlete, Davy sometimes misses his more active life. Micky’s hair is a constant problem to him. Peter watches as Micky touches it up just before a scene is shot. Of the four Monkees, Micky is most used to doing a TV show because of his years on “Circus Boy.” Occasionally, Micky’s girlfriends visit him on the set. There are quite a few of them.
