Hi!
I have always promised that the Monkees Monthly would try and keep you as up-to-date as possible with everything that Davy, Micky, Mike and Peter do, and we lived up to this promise last month by being the only publication in the country to forecast Micky and Sammy’s wedding.
There is a brief news report about the happy event on our Stop Press page and I will be ringing Micky in time for next month’s issue when I hope he will give me lots more details about the most important event in his life so far. I am sure that everyone will want to join me in wishing Micky and Samantha every happiness and lots of luck in the future.
I do get worried sometimes. Several readers have written to me saying that I give too much space to one Monkee or another. The only answer I can give is that whilst I do try to be fair to each of the boys, I don’t get the same amount of pictures and information about each one. For some reason or other, Peter and Mike don’t seem to land up in front of a camera lens as often as Micky and Davy. Also of course, Davy and Micky have visited this country more frequently than the others and I feel I must tell you what happens while they are over here. But please don’t think that I go out of my way to print more on one of the boys than the others. I love them all.
Don’t forget there are only a few days for you to send in photos with your pen pal requests before they all go into the first lucky dip.
