Here we go again with some very groovy scenes from the Monkees’ first movie. Hold your breath. It’ll open near your town around Thanksgiving day and will be the wildest, funniest adventure in filming you’ve ever seen. It’s still called “Untitled.” Have any suggestions?

    Info Annette Funicello and Davy play lovers in one segment of the film. That’s Davy and his magic violin coming down the stairs at the right and the girl in the sailor suit is none other than Annette. How many of you remember the Mickey Mouse Club where Annette rose to fame?

    Info Monkees fly! The boys filmed their flying sequences in a wind tunnel. They wore protective suits and Davy thought this was the most fun during the entire making of the film. Micky wasn’t sure he liked it that much. Can you see the wires holding them up?

    Info Monkees swim!—In one sequence all the Monkees had to jump in a swimming pool with their clothes on.

    Info Davy ([above]) contemplates movie making. This is Davy’s first feature length film and he loved making it. Even if the Monkees don’t do another feature in the next few years, Davy would like to squeeze one in on his own.
