Not only is Mike Nesmith a successful Monkee, he’s also rated as a top flight record producer. When Mike produced his special album “Wichita Train Whistle,” Monkee Spec cameras were there to catch the action. You can tell by his expressions that there are definitely two sides to Mike, that of the carefree Monkee and that of the serious recording producer.
Info Mike paces the recording studio where the more than 75 musicians he hired do their stuff. He personally paid them all and at the end of the session, they gave him a great tribute by acknowledging his fine professionalism.
