  • Mike Nesmith, Frank Zappa
Mike and Frank again. They changed clothing—Frank put on Mike’s famous wool hat and Mike put on a “fright wig,” moustache and beard. Here you see them as themselves again.
  • Mike Nesmith, Frank Zappa
Frank performed the song Mother People and Mike directed a make-believe orchestra. They topped off their get-together by breaking up and completely dismantling this car.
  • Tim Buckley, Micky Dolenz
Micky’s guest was Elektra Records’ recording artist Tim Buckley. Here is Tim strumming a tasty guitar accompaniment while Micky hums a tune.
  • Tim Buckley
Another shot of Tim singing Song Of The Siren. Micky has been a fan of Tim’s for quite some time and he had a ball interviewing and performing with him.
  • Davy Jones, Charlie Smalls
Davy chose Charlie Small, a jazz piano player and singer whom he has long admired. Charlie performed A Girl Named Love. (Peter’s choice—Pete Seeger—was unable to appear.)
