Info The madcap Monkees each picked a popular personality of their choice and personally interviewed them on a segment of The Monkees show. Here is Mike Nesmith ([above]) with his choice Frank Zappa of The Mothers Of Invention. Info Mike and Frank again. They changed clothing—Frank put on Mike’s famous wool hat and Mike put on a “fright wig,” moustache and beard. Here you see them as themselves again. Info Frank performed the song Mother People and Mike directed a make-believe orchestra. They topped off their get-together by breaking up and completely dismantling this car. Info Micky’s guest was Elektra Records’ recording artist Tim Buckley. Here is Tim strumming a tasty guitar accompaniment while Micky hums a tune. Info Another shot of Tim singing Song Of The Siren. Micky has been a fan of Tim’s for quite some time and he had a ball interviewing and performing with him. Info Davy chose Charlie Small, a jazz piano player and singer whom he has long admired. Charlie performed A Girl Named Love. (Peter’s choice—Pete Seeger—was unable to appear.)
