Mike, Micky, Peter and Davy get together to talk over the day’s shooting on board a ship off the coast of California. The Monkees do most of their filming at the Screen Gems studios in Hollywood (where you can write to them at 1334 North Beachwood Drive, Hollywood, Calif. 90028), so this particular day was even more interesting, exciting and unpredictable than most days! And you were there as the day’s action was about to start. While Davy is kinda serious about holding on to that rope, Peter is smiling off in the distance as Micky looks on. Here Micky and Peter are in a serious conversation, as Peter holds on to a life preserver. That’s a compass around Peter’s neck, by the way. Here’s Davy among some other ropes, curiously watching all the happenings on board! As soon as there was a break in the clouds, Davy was ready to take advantage of the sun! Ships have always been a place to think. And Peter is living up to the tradition as he goes off by himself for a few private minutes. No one got seasick. Here’s Peter casually relaxing along the railing. As Micky looks up, you can spot a lifeboat in the water. Mike checks out his compass to make sure that the ships on course. It must have been, because everybody got home that night! As Davy rests for a second, the crusty old anchor lies next to him. Sneaks help you keep your balance on board as you sail through the waves. Davy’s framed by a battered old porthole as he gets a groovy view of all the goings-on! Mike and Davy break up as they kid around with the crew. Micky’s found the most comfortable spot on board to take a catnap. The day’s shooting is ended, and so has your visit with The Monkees at sea!
