Not too long ago FaVE announced a new contest that set Monkee fans frantic. The winner would be flown to Hollywood where she’d actually meet Davy, Peter, Micky and Mike.
Thousands and thousands entered. Only one of those heartfelt, hopeful entries could be the winner.
This time that lucky girl turned out to be Kim Larson, age 14, of Portland, Oregon. It could just as easily have been you. And in a way, it was.
You see, if it weren’t for your love for the Fabulous 4-M’s and your support of the publications they appear in, there’d be no FaVE Magazine, and no contest for anyone to win. Kim wants you to know that she realizes this, and appreciates it. And we do, too.
As this issue of FaVE goes to press, Kim has just finished the most wonderful three days she’s ever known. And it’s all here in pictures and stories for you to share.
Because you have made our contests so successful there will be many more coming for you in FaVE! And they’ll be as outasite as we can possibly make them.
