The Monkees Outasite Tour

Peter, Mike, Davy and Micky have turned the country upside down this summer with their groovy concert shows. Whether you saw them in person or not, you’ll have to agree that this is the most fantastic picture story of the Monkees’ great tour!

    1. Sensational Sundowners did fantastic job of backing the Monkees and playing their hit “Always You.” Here, Bobby Dick pretends to play flute.

    2. A wild mob of fans arrived to greet Monkees Mike and Peter appearing on local television show in Dallas, Texas.

    3. Excited fans mobbed Peter’s limousine. The boys escaped from the TV studio by climbing over the roof!

    4. “Auntie Grizelda” was Peter’s fave song in the concert because he got to dance all over the stage while he sang.

    5. “Hi! Big D,” Mike shouted to the Dallas fans. Since Mike grew up in Dallas and was very poor then, it was a great thrill for him to return so successfully. While he was in Dallas, he visited his old neighborhood.

    9. The Monkees on TV, but not on “The Monkees” was a different sight. At one stop on the tour they did this pop show and sang “Randy Scouse Git.” It fractured the fans!
