The adventures—and mis-adventures—of Micky from age four to almost eight.
Info Hello again, my own “Micky Maniacs”! Last month, I began the story of my life in exclusive photos and I got up to the age of three. So now we begin when I was four years old and still living in North Hollywood. 
Info Here I am at four years of age—sitting on top of my puppy-dog’s house. The dog, “Mija”, still lives with the family (now in Los Gatos, California). “Mija” is part cocker, part mutt, one-of-a-kind just plain dog. 
Info Guess who is doing guess what? Well, if you can’t figure it out, it is sweet little me—waiting for the bus to pick me up and take me to my first day of kindergarten. When this picture was taken, we had moved to Goodland Avenue in North Hollywood. 
Info While we were living on Goodland Avenue, I got the chicken pox and was “confined to quarters” for about a week. Having nothing better to do—and not being able to spell, read or write—I decided to type the story of my life, naturally. Only thing was—I forgot to put the paper in. 
Info Here I am (at seven) with my little sister Coco by our swimming pool. Dad taught all us kids how to swim and we are still very good at it. 
Info When I was seven and a half, “Mamoo” (my grandma), Mom, Coco and I went to Texas (where this picture was taken) to visit my great-grandmother, Mrs. Nancy Hornby—whom I nicknamed “Gram”. She still lives in Austin and watched The Monkees every Monday night. 
Info One day Dad sent me out to rake the leaves. I got the job half-done and settled down for some quiet “gold-bricking”, when Dad came out and snapped this picture. Credit: George Dolenz
