The cheers are yet to come, but they’ll be here when Monkee Mike becomes a full-fledged record producer. This is something Mike’s wanted for a very long time, so when he conducted his first session, our cameras were along to catch some of Mike’s moods.
For any of you who’ve heard that the Monkees aren’t musicians, this photo spread should be proof that these statements have been false. As you can see, Mike is not only a singer, but a talented musician. In fact, Mike believes it takes a lot more musical know-how to be behind the scenes on a record than in front of the mike.
