“I Got a Woman (live)”

I got a woman
Over town
She’s good to me
She’s good to me
I got a woman
Over town
She’s good to me, ah
She’s good to me, hey, hey, hey
Ah, she’s my baby
Don’t you understand?
I know, I know, know, know I’m her lovin’ man
I got a woman
Way over town
She’s good to me
She’s good to me

I got a woman
Way over town
She’s good to me
She’s good to me, hey
Ha, I got a woman
Oh yes, the town
Ha, she’s good to me
Ah, good to me, hey, me, me
Ah now, she’s my baby
Oh, yes indeed
I know I’m the kind of guy she needs
I got a woman
Over town
She’s good to me
She’s good to me

She always answers
My beck and call
Every lovin’ mama
Mama, she’s so tall
I feel so proud now walkin’ by her side
Couldn’t get a better girl no matter how hard I tried

I got a woman
Over town
She’s good to me
She’s good to me
I got a woman
Over town, ah
She’s good to me
She’s good to me
Ah, now she’s my baby
Whoa, yes, indeed
I’m the kinda guy she needs
I got a woman
Way over town
She’s good to me
She’s good to me
Go!

[break]

She always answers
My beck and call
Every lovin’ mama
Mama, she’s so tall
I’d be so proud now walkin’ by her side
Couldn’t get a better girl no matter how hard I tried

I got a woman
Over town
She’s good to me
She’s good to me
I got a woman
Over town, hey, hey
She’s good to me
Good to me

Well, she’s my baby
Don’t you understand?
I know, I know, I’m her lovin’ man
I got a woman
Over town
She’s good to me
Ah, take it down low
Ah, take it down low
I got a woman
I’ve got a woman
I’ve got a woman
Hey, hey, hey, ah
Ah, got to, got to, got to, got to

Micky: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Davy: Whoa! Is everybody happy?
Peter: Ha ha ha ha. Hello. Hey listen, while Mike is uh, playing with his guitar, I’m trying to make—
Davy: Let’s have a nice round of applause for the Sundowners.
Peter: Yeah, hand of a—round of applause for the Sundowners.
Davy: Yeah.
Peter: Also, we’re gonna play a little game. Um, those of you who have uh, flash cubes and flash bulbs, we’re gonna play a game whereby uh, wherein we all flash them—I mean, you all, ha ha, not us—flash the flash cubes at the same time, and we’re gonna just make this a h—one big huge flash. And uh, the purpose of the thing is for those of you who don’t—I mean, one of the things is for those of you who don’t have flash cubes, you take a picture at the same time, and uh, those—you’ll get a flash picture, because everybody else will be flashing. We’re gonna wait ’til Micky comes out here, but when he does, whe—you’re all, you’re all gonna flash when we go “one two, flash” is what it’ll be. Got that? It’ll be like on three, so it’ll be “one, two, flash”, and when Micky—whenever Micky gets out here.
Mike: You’ve got to hold the flash cameras way up in the air, hold them way up now, because they can uh, they can really be a groovy scene.
Peter: We can’t find Micky, however, so uh.
Mike: Okay. Everybody load up their flash camera. Are you ready? Hold up, hold up your camera way up high in the air. Okay, everybody along the back, hold them way up, on the side. Come on.
Micky: That sounded great.
Peter: In the back, too.
Mike: Okay.
Peter: Okay, are you ready?
Mike: Now, everybody ready?
Peter: Everybody ready?
Mike: Okay, here we go. One, two, flash!
Davy: Yeah!
Micky: Yeah!
