THAT’S MICKY dressed up like an old lady in a scene from one of next season’s shows. Davy and Micky can run through some very funny ad lib routines even without a script. Micky would like to write some of the Monkee shows if he had enough time. Below, he’s laughing at a joke Peter just told him before the scene started shooting. It’s a running joke for the boys to try to break each other up.
AN ORIGINAL MICKY design is what he’s wearing over his eyes. This Monkee’s talent goes on and on in many different directions. Below, Mike has worked on his facial expressions. At first, he was a deadpan. Today, his face is almost like rubber.
CAMERA BUGS! All the Monkees like to take pictures. Micky’s been doing it for many years, but now Peter also enjoys it and goes about his work with lots of energy. Some of the photos in the Monkee Spec are taken by Peter just for fun.
BEAUTIFUL TEETH! Peter shows off his nice, straight, white teeth. He, like the rest of the Monkees, must take care of his teeth, because 30 million viewers see them every Monday night. Below, Pete strums his guitar in between scenes on the set. Peter never like being idle when a musical instrument is around.
